We had an early dinner today with ordering two appetizers. Food is okay but waitress service is horrible. She served us food without straws, without bread, even without utensils. I have to asked every single items, even water. It was around 4:30 and not a busy time at all.
It may be just an isolated case., but I would less likely to visit this place again. -

Pros - Good location on Clear Lake Channel; good wait staff.
Cons - Entree quality was poor. And I am sorry, but the Manager should not be asking for do-over at a high end restaurant.
I like Landry's venues overall, but this dinner at this location was very disappointing. Neither my entree nor my wife's entree were satisfactory.
Our waitress was great, and the manager was gracious. However, quality control coming from the kitchen was a failure. The grilled shrimp were not fresh. It appeared they were cocktail shrimp that had been previously boiled, then chilled, then reheated - but not all the way through as they were still cold inside. And they had no discernible seasoning. Very lame for a high end seafood/cajun restaurant, located on the bay, when you are expecting fresh, grilled shrimp.
The blackened redfish with the blackened shrimp and crab topper was also very disappointing. Both the amount of blackened seasoning on the fish and the quantity and seasoning of the topper were very lacking. I don't expect a topper to be another meal, but I do expect to be able to find it and to have bits of it with most bites of my entree. This was definitely not the case.
Lastly, the vegetables were served undercooked. One could barely cut the broccoli with the knife provided it was so hard. While I like vegetables el dente, rock hard is not acceptable. We went for an early dinner and the restaurant was not yet full, so I cannot believe they were rushing due to workload. This was a failure by the kitchen and whoever QAs their work.
I have been a Landry's Select Club member for years, and will continue to go to other Landry's venues in the future. But it is unlikely I will give this specific location another chance without significant incentive.
And if I were a Manager at Landry's, I would have a serious discussion with the kitchen staff at this location that they are not upholding the overall reputation of the Landry's brand. -

Chealsea our waitress was great and very delightful
There was moderate noise for the not to crowded restaurant. On such a great day like today (Monday afternoon) all small parties were seated in front of the windows.
Honestly the food was so-so
Feel free to check out the photos. But the crab and spinach artichoke dip was by far the best thing we had.
We also tried the seared scallops nice size just not a fan of the sauce. The snapper Hemingway was okay too. We took the Cinnamon Bread pudding home -

I've been coming to the Kemah Boardwalk for many years now. In fact, I've been coming long before Tillman Fertitta bought it and built part of his empire here. With that said, I've been coming to this location of Landry's for many years. In fact, it is by far my favorite Landry's Seafood House location. Just the ambiance alone is worth the price of admission. The views here are spectacular. The dining room is always in tip top shape. I recently visited this location on a date. On this particular evening, the Kemah Boardwalk was a ghost town. I had never been here when it was this empty. It actually made for an excellent date though it did make me nervous walking in. Those fears were quickly put to rest. We were seated promptly and our request for a view of the water was accommodated without any issue. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Service was excellent as we never hurt for a thing. I'm pretty simple when it comes to my seafood. I ordered the fried shrimp and it was delicious. The garlic bread served before the meal was a nice touch. Our glasses never ran empty. We had such a great experience that we came back later in the evening for dessert. I'd highly recommend the s'mores. My date ordered the fish and chips and was pleased with her dish as well. We'll be back.

Terrible service. My server was Marci and she was so slow and rude. The drinks and food took for ever to get to the table and it wasn't even busy when we were there. On top of that all of our food was cold not even warm. I will never be coming to this location ever again and will not recommend.
